Our Indigenous Programs are kicking goals
School readiness plays a key role in kids’ educational and health outcomes, yet Aboriginal children are twice as likely to start school developmentally behind compared to non-Aboriginal children
Bluearth works closely with Aboriginal community organisations and early childhood educators to improve childrens’ health and wellbeing and prepare them for school. We share games and mindfulness with young children, their partners and carers, and early childhood educators to:
- Increase child and family involvement in early childhood education
- Support family education on the importance of early childhood education
- Increase school attendance and improve educational outcomes
Research shows that quality early childhood education (playgroup, kindergarten and childcare) is important for vulnerable Aboriginal children and has a positive impact on school attendance and academic success.

Bluearth has helped me develop resilience and wellbeing in my students through fun games and activities. These traits are vital for my students to develop as they often have backgrounds of trauma, abuse and neglect.
